NON-Registered Massage Therapists are currently in school at recognized education programs by the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. They will use several techniques that they have learned in school.

Please note, they cannot be billed through extended health insurance (ICBC, WCB etc.) as they have not completed their registration exams; therefore, do not have a registration number.

Debbie is currently studying at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and will be graduating in April 2024. She noticed the benefits and positive outcomes of massage therapy, thus inspired her to pursue a career as an RMT.

She incorporates various relaxing and therapeutic techniques such as Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Release, PNF Stretching and Joint Mobilization. She is constantly growing her skillset and is open to learn, so she can facilitate her patients further to achieve a pain-free lifestyle.

On her off time, she stays active doing yoga and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and golfing. In addition to English, Debbie is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Joshua is currently in his final semester of the RMT program at Langara College. Suffering multiple sports-related injuries sparked his passion for athletic rehabilitation and pain management.

With his knowledge and continuous learning in his field, he is dedicated to helping people return back to their functional lives, as well as, helping athletes return to their sport. Joshua is experienced in Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and PNF stretching.

Sarah is a student RMT in their final term at Langara College. They are passionate about helping people from all walks of life, whether it be people with chronic pain or the athletic population, they are in the business of helping them maintain a good quality of living.

Currently, Sarah uses Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, and PNF Stretching.

On their down time, they love to take long walks and shoot film photos of the scenery, as well as collect vintage cameras, and loves to read a good book.

TC has a passion for helping people. This coupled with his interests in anatomy and physiology have led him down the path of massage therapy. TC believes in treating the body as a whole and that every patient presents uniquely. He also accredits massage as a successful method for rehabilitation, maintenance of our bodies and equally important, the management of stress and anxiety. TC creates treatment plans catering to personal needs and goals.

In addition to working as a student RMT at Hartwell Therapy & Wellness, he is continually furthering his education and implementing the techniques learned into his massage practice. His priority is always to tailor his approach while integrating knowledge of massage to best suit clients’ needs. TC is experienced in a variety of massage styles, including: Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, and Swedish Massage.

Outside of the clinic, his activities include weight training, running, traveling and exploring new adventures in this beautiful world. Mountains and forests are his second home, and he is an avid climber, cyclist and yoga practitioner.
